Basic Information
The Close-In Weapons System or CIWS Turret is designed as a last line of defense against an incoming missile or as a good defense against mobs and players. It fires 20mm Bullets at an impressive 20 rounds per second
The Turret is reasonably accurate, but accuracy quickly decreases the the further away the target.

It has a base range of 100.0 Blocks. This range can be further increased with Range upgrades.
Usage
Each bullet will inflict one damage on an incoming missile with each having 100 health, and 10 damage onto mobs. The turrets must however have a direct line of sight to targets and must be connected to a Fire Control Radar to fire upon missiles. In order to connect such a radar please check out its wiki page.
Each turret can only hold up to 128 rounds. Unlike the SAM Turret the CIWS has no minimum range. Furthermore, this turret can also target players and other mobs, and does not need to be connected to a radar for this feature. However, if a radar is connected, it will prioritize missiles above other targets. The detection range for mobs is one quarter of the detection range for missiles, being 25.0 blocks.
By default, the turret will fire upon all visible targets, but you are able to whitelist players if you want to. You can also change the target mode to only target players or all mobs.

The turret requires 20 kW of electricity at 120 V. It has a maximum elevation of 90.0 degrees and a maximum depression of 45.0 degrees.
