Usage
The Laser Designator is used to launch missiles from a Missile Silo remotely. To use it, first place a Silo and prepare a missile with your choice of warhead. Next, Right-Click the Designator on the Silo to link the Designator to the Silo’s frequency. Alternatively, the frequency can be linked via the Sync slot. Note, another the benefit of Designator is that you will not need to pre-program coordinates to the Missile Silo.
With the Silo prepared and the Designator linked to the Silo, all the remains is to find a suitable target. When you find one, simply Right-Click on it with the Designator. This will expend 150.0 J, automatically feed the target’s coordinates into the Silo, and fire the missile. Note, make sure the target is actually in range of the missile in the Silo!
