Basic Information
The Interdiction Matrix is the machine that will protect your base in a stealthy way! It will kill your enemies, collect their items, prevent mob spawning and more!
Be careful though! You need a Biometric Identifier to validate yourself as its owner! Check its page out to learn how to use it.
Setup and usage
The way to setup your matrix, will be exactly as the fortron field projector is setup, with the small change of having an interdiction matrix instead of the fortron field projector. Check out the fortron field projector page to see how this is done!
NB! Don’t forget the Biometric Identifier!
Upgrades
NB! Many of the upgrades underneath will increase the fortron usage to varying degrees.
Scale Upgrade
Each such upgrade will increase the matrix size by 1 block in every direction. Do note however, that the matrix will use a fortron amount related to the volume of your matrix area. Thus, twice the size means eight times the fortron usage!
Strength Upgrade
Each such upgrade will increase the damage done by the matrix upon all forms of life applicable based on the other upgrades, by 4 per second.
Anti-“x” Upgrade
Each of these upgrades do what their names suggest. They allow for the matrix to kill entities of the type specified, or to block spawns.
Block-Alter Upgrade
This upgrade, stops non-verified players from altering blocks.
Block-Access Upgrade
This upgrade, stops non-verified players from accessing blocks.
Confiscation Upgrade
This very usefull upgrade, will confiscate the inventories of non-verified players and place their belongings in a chest above the interdiction matrix.
Another, less usefull thing to note is the fortron usage (mB / per tick) formula, based on the amount of scale (radius) / strength upgrades you have:
FortronUse = (20+ strength) * radius * radius * radius
Frequency
This machine only connects to other machines with the same frequency as itself. In order to change this frequency you must use a frequency card:
To use such a card, you either right click the machine with this card, or you place it in the bottom right slot.
To change the frequency of such a card, you place it in your and and: right-click to increase the frequency and left-click to decrease it.
